    1. Coordinate the activities of the HR department in order to ensure they meet the organization's goals
    2. Review HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations
    3. Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
    4. Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
    5. Manage contracts
    6. Respond to employee questions and complaints
    7. Recruit and hire staff
    8. Conduct performance reviews
