    Description

    Agilus is looking for a Senior Land Agent who is fluent in both French and English to join the team in the pipeline industry within a hybrid environment in Greater Ottawa Area, Ontario.

    The Senior Landowner Liaison will play a crucial role in negotiating land access, obtaining necessary permits, and handling land and crop damage compensation, all while prioritizing building strong relationships with stakeholders.

    • Negotiate temporary workspaces and access agreements/permits.

    Regularly communicate with landowners and stakeholders, addressing inquiries promptly and consistently regarding pipeline operations and related issues.

    Keep a detailed log of all third-party interactions, including stakeholder notifications for pipeline operations and support of public awareness initiatives.

    • Collaborate with various business units to offer support on land and damage prevention matters, managing multiple priorities effectively.

    Assist in risk mitigation and problem resolution to strengthen stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.

    • Must be fluent in both French and English.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean record is a must.
    • Post-secondary education in property, real estate, or legal fields required. Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in geography, urban planning, real estate, or a related business discipline.
    • Real Estate License and IRWA SR/WA designation are preferred.
    • Proficiency in legal matters concerning land acquisition and easements for pipeline operations is necessary.
    • Ability to interpret legal documents, land titles, easements, and technical drawings is a must.
    • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation, especially in sensitive situations.

    This position offers a remote/hybrid work setup.
