    Position: Sr. Project Manager, ECM

    Position Type: Contract

    Location: Calgary or Toronto Remote

    Description

    Work with the delivery team on multiple ECM projects including OT Content Suite and CRM Salesforce implementation. Content suite usually works with SAP Success Factor (HR module).

    Looking for a senior manager with strong project/program scheduling and planning who comes from S/W development and integration background and managed 8-12 small projects concurrently, each project usually 2-3 members including technical and functional consultants.

    Responsibilities

    • Project management of assigned client engagements including but not limited to the use of our project management methodology and compliance requirements when forecasting booked revenue, resource forecasting, weekly project financials tracking (i.e. margin attainment, budget, invoicing), managing risks, project scope change, and issues through to resolution.
    • Create and negotiate project change requests for your engagements to manage the scope, schedule, and budget of project change
    • Work with the Professional Services Resource Manager and other Project Managers to establish project resource needs, screen candidates both internal and external to the Professional Services team, and coordinate project resources on a weekly basis.
    • Work with the field operations team to forecast project hours and revenue accurately on a weekly basis
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
    • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
    • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
    • Manage projects so that they are delivered on time, on budget, and project delivery with minimal escalations
    • Provide internal project reports to the field operations team, Projects Director, and Professional Services Sales Directors as required
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
    • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle

    Qualifications

    • Working experience in a Professional Services environment managing large and mid-sized Enterprise Information Management Enterprise Content Management solutions or other software implementation projects
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management
    • At least 5 years of experience with mid-sized solution deployment
    • At least 2 years of OT project implementation experience.
    • CAPM, PMP, or equivalent certifications preferred
    • Experience in AGILE, SCRUM, RUP an asset
    • Experience working on projects in a matrix environment, across industries
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and writing skills
    • Experience negotiating through difficult project situations with customers and internal teams
    • Strong project accounting experience and skills.
    • Extremely strong Microsoft Project, and MS Office capabilities
    • Experience using or delivering Content Management / Information management applications is desired.
