    Our client is a leading manufacturer supporting prominent international brands and retailers.

    Reporting to the President, the VP, Sales will provide overall strategic leadership and direction for sales, marketing and product development while driving a disciplined and effective commercial organization.The VP will provide strong leadership and direction to the organization by challenging, coaching and mentoring the team towards sustainable services and sales force excellence.They will embrace and implement sales measurement tools, pipeline planning, processes and training programs taking the sales organization to the next level in terms of sophistication, effectiveness and results.

    The VP will work collaboratively across the senior executive team to develop an integrated marketing strategy to refine the organization's brand, strengthen internal and external communications infrastructure, and integrate advanced business development functions designed to promote the organization and achieve revenue goals.

    First Year Deliverables:

  • Gain a deep and broad understanding of the business quickly; develop and maintain effective working relationships, establishing a high level of credibility and is seen to be adding value to the business.
  • Build an effective, highly functioning, sales organization with the right disciplines, processes, and team structure to deliver significant revenue growth.
  • Create and execute an effective articulated sales, marketing, and product development strategies.
  • Develop the strategic plan on how to significantly grow sales efficiently with clear priorities on execution.
  • Develop, mentor and coach the team to be more 'proactive' and comfortable to push the envelope to attain business goals.
  • Our ideal candidate brings a minimum of 12 – 15 years of relevant progressive commercial experience gained in the consumer products industry ideally within the health and beauty category.The VP will drive new business growth, build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, and chart the path for new ideas and strategies.

    The VP will be a disciplined leader who ensures solutions are positioned ahead of quickly evolving industry or market requirements, while anticipating industry direction and trends. They will lead the change management and implementation of best practices and processes throughout the sales, marketing and product development function. They will be hungry for growth opportunities and passionate about bringing best practices and process to life. The role requires a high energy, results driven leader with a hands-on leadership style.With the ultimate goal of growing revenue, this individual is solution oriented, collaborative, transparent and direct.
