    IT Support Freelance Customer Service / Support
    Description
    BeBee Professionals is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to join our team in Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.

    The Desktop Support Specialist will be expected to:

    • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
    • Diagnose system problems and determine appropriate solutions
    • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
    • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone
    • Maintain daily performance of computer systems
    • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
    • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
    • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
    • Support the roll-out of new applications
    • Maintain records of software licenses

    The ideal candidate should have:

    • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • At least two years of experience in a similar role
    • Knowledge of computer hardware and software
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
