    The School of Health and Public Safety at SAIT prepares students for a dynamic career in the health care sector.

    We offer specialized training in diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, professional assistant programs, information management, and training for wellness professionals. Our programs are hands on, with students and instructors immersed in living classrooms and simulated training.

    The School of Health and Public Safety at SAIT prepares students for the work demands of the healthcare sector across Alberta, Canada and abroad.

    The School of Health & Public Safety has a need for energetic and resourceful individuals with great organizational skills to provide in person instruction in the Healthcare Leadership post-diploma certificate program.

    Course HCAR 402 – Healthcare Leadership Capstone
    All of the courses are taught in the daytime (casual hourly position). These courses are taught in person at our main campus.
    Prepare and deliver lectures to students enrolled in the Healthcare Leadership program.
    Be an active and engaged member of the school to maintain a "team environment"
    Participate in all SAIT training, School and program meetings.
    Promote and support SAIT and the School of Health and Public Safety's mission, strategic and academic plans.
    Ideal candidate will have a Master's in either Healthcare Management (MHA) or Public Health (MPH). Minimum 10 years of progressive and diverse hands-on experience in both clinical and/or leadership roles in healthcare.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
    Proficiency with technology to facilitate delivery of classroom and lab content through the Learning Management System (Brightspace)
    Previous academic background (including teaching experience) is a must
    Involvement is scholarly activity/research is an asset
    High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
    Hourly Rate : 40.79 CAD
