    Description
    Our client is recruiting for a Specialist, Legal Operations with Trademark experience to join their Intellectual Property team.

    You will be a key member of a dynamic and innovative group of lawyers, clerks and legal support staff, providing the highest level of service to clients, while having the opportunity to cultivate your skills as part of our successful national Intellectual Property team.

    This is an immediately opportunity that can be located in Toronto or Ottawa, ON.
    Manages the recording, docketing and coordination of all IP key client deadlines including liaising with clients/counsel and adjusters on deadlines
    Collaborates with Law Clerks, Practice Assistants and Lawyers to manage matters and ensures deadlines are actioned
    Collaborates with the IP key client Lead Partner to develop workflow processes to optimize the case load management
    Manages the creation and maintenance of IP key client precedents, procedures and playbooks
    The Specialist, Legal Operations will bill their time according to the IP key client agreement and also perform other law clerk billable work as required
    Superior organizational, data management and problem solving skills
    Proven project and time management skills and ability to manage a variety of concurrent projects
    Experience developing work flows an asset
    Advanced computer skills, particularly with the Firm's preferred technologies
    Experience with Intellectual Property Database platforms an asset
