    The Opportunity

    Are you a Joint Venture (JV) Consultant seeking an exciting new opportunity? Are you a strong team player and communicator with excellent analytical skills? Vermilion Energy is hiring a temporary part time JV Analyst for our Calgary head office. If you are interested in gaining excellent exposure internally and externally and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment, we want to hear from you

    You will draft, review, and execute JV agreements. With your ability to work within tight deadlines, you will complete analysis work as required, in support of the JV team. You will join a group that values its people and provides work with purpose, and you will build and maintain relationships within the organization and with industry peers.

    What you will do

  • Draft, analyze, interpret, and recommend the execution of service agreements
  • Understand production flow and how it relates to relevant agreements
  • Support representatives and the JV team through analytical reviews
  • Respond to internal and external queries
  • Support acquisitions and divestitures as required
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the JV administrative team
  • Work on specific on off projects as needed

    • What you will bring

  • Seven years of JV experience
  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field
  • Experience with CS Explorer
  • Demonstrated track record of strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem solve

    • Location and other Key Details

  • This is a temporary position for a period of 6 months, hours of work will be 20 to 30 hours per week
  • You will work out of our Calgary head office at 520 3rd Avenue
