    Director of Sales, Chocolate

    (Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, Large Accounts, the incumbent will be responsible to lead and inspire a dynamic sales team within the chocolate industry, driving revenue growth through strategic market penetration, exceptional client relationships, and innovative sales initiatives. Our mission is to position our chocolate products as synonymous with health and wellbeing, offering innovative and value-added options.

    Responsibilities * Develop and execute sales strategies to drive B2B chocolate sales for Puratos and Foley's brands.
    Identify and cultivate relationships with key business clients in the chocolate industry, including industrial chocolatiers, retailers, distributors.
    Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and promotional campaigns tailored to each channel.

    Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends including the commodity market, competitor activities, and customer preferences, adjusting strategies accordingly.

    Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential and existing clients, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, , operations, and finance, to ensure seamless product development and order fulfillment.
    Analyze sales performance metrics, forecasting, generate reports, and make recommendations to improve the performance and the customer experience.
    Train and mentor sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture within the sales team.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience sales, preferably in the chocolate or food industry.
    Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
    Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic recommendations.
    Knowledge of the chocolate industry, market trends, and customer behavior.
    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
