Billyard Insurance Group is seeking a Learning & Development Facilitator at Head Office who will assist in the implementation and maintenance of employee / broker training and support frameworks.
With help and direction from the Director of Learning & Development and leadership team, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop the role in accordance with growing the company's needs, market changes and shifting consumer demands.
What does the Learning & Development Facilitator do?The Facilitator will assist the company with internal effectiveness in achieving support and training cohesiveness across all product lines and their support departments, including our current initiatives.
Train new hires and provide resources and materials needed to transition them into their new rolesSchedule and facilitate live broker / employee learning sessions, primarily utilizing a virtual setting
Schedule and facilitate employee coaching sessions, primarily utilizing a virtual setting
Track metrics regarding training completion, satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for curriculum improvement
Communicate with Leadership & Management teams concerning employee / broker training progress
Organize / Facilitate Employee Learning Workshops when needed, primarily utilizing a virtual setting
Assist in the development of BIG Learning Content research & creation as needed
Assist & support the Manager, Learning & Development through completion of assigned tasks & projects as needed
Experience in Sales & Customer Service in the insurance industry
Demonstrably creative, with strong attention to detail
Proficient in virtual training technology
RIBO licensed
~2+ years' experience working with others in a coaching/training setting
~ Prior experience working in Learning & Development content creation an asset
~ Prior experience working with e-learning content & LMS software an asset
