    Telecon is looking for an energetic and passionate HR Professional to take on the position of Talent & Culture Business Partner within our Infrastructure client group.*This hybrid opportunity is a 12 month contract*The Talent & Culture Business Partner works closely to provide day to day support on all human resources related issues within the Infrastructure client group.

    The successful candidate will work closely with Operational business unit leaders and act as an ambassador of Telecon's values acting as a change agent in collaboration with the business.


    Responsibilities:


    Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to Leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) while ensuring full compliance with the Collective Agreements where applicable.

    Works closely with Leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

    Partner with the Talent and Culture Coordinator for weekly and monthly reports related to headcount, turnover, recruiting and prepare ad hoc reports, as requested.

    Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
    Monitor and partner with Leaders pertaining to Leave of absence and return to work programs.
    Manages and resolves employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
    Fosters partnerships to deliver value-added service to Leadership and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
    Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, culture and its competition.
    Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate and remaining agile to support the needs of the business.
    Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
    Perform other special projects, as assigned.


    Requirements:


    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.3-5 years relevant human resources experience in a human resources capacity supporting business operations.

    Construction field and/or manufacturing experience is an asset.
    Previous experience in an employee relations focused role an asset.
    Highly effective communicator and influencer.
    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competitive priorities in a dynamic setting.
