We are looking for a full-time Librarian, Research Services . As a key member of the Library Services team, you will be reporting to the Manager, Library Services.

    In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal and business research and reference services and training to lawyers and students.

    Provide timely and high quality legal and business research, analysis and reference services on complex matters to lawyers, students and staff
    Develop knowledge of legal subject areas and relevant research tools
    Advise students and lawyers on technical research strategy, methodology and resources
    Keep lawyers informed about developments relevant to their practice by monitoring legislation, case law and media
    Collaborate with Library team, Research Lawyers and Directors of Professional Support and Legal Talent to develop and deliver innovative research instruction and training to lawyers and students
    Evaluate and recommend new research tools and resources
    Participate in the overall development and management of the library's collection
    Master's degree in Library Science/Information Studies is required
    ~2-5 years experience providing legal and business research services
    ~ Ability to think critically and analytically in order to provide accurate, high-quality research services to lawyers and students
    ~ Ability to adapt to the changing framework of library and information management services and practices
    ~ Demonstrates excellent client service and ability to anticipate client needs
