    Are you a seasoned Tax Manager with a passion for providing exceptional client service? Our client, a prominent player in the Financial Services sector, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their Ottawa team. As a Tax Strategy Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting Portfolio Managers to deliver unparalleled service to our esteemed clientele.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Tailored Tax Services: Spearhead branch-level tax preparation services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
    2. Holistic Tax Planning: Craft bespoke tax planning strategies for clients, maximizing their financial well-being and minimizing liabilities.
    3. Strategic Consultation: Conduct in-depth research and provide expert advice on tax minimization strategies, staying ahead of regulatory changes to offer proactive solutions.
    4. CRA Liaison: Offer invaluable assistance to clients facing CRA inquiries, audits, or over-contribution issues, ensuring swift resolution and peace of mind.
    5. Client Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers to establish and nurture strong client relationships, gathering vital KYC and financial planning information.
    6. Meeting Preparation: Support Portfolio Managers in preparing for client meetings, offering insights and analysis to enhance the client experience.
    7. Financial Planning Support: Assist in the input and analysis of client financial plans, contributing to comprehensive and tailored solutions.
    8. Onboarding Excellence: Play a key role in the onboarding process for new clients, reviewing documents and ensuring a seamless transition into our services.
    9. Custom Reporting: Generate client-specific reports, showcasing performance and progress, and reinforcing trust and transparency.
    10. Client Advocacy: Act as the primary Client Ambassador, nurturing and maintaining strong relationships, understanding their needs, and exceeding expectations.

    Qualifications:

    • CPA Designation: Demonstrated expertise in tax management and financial services, ensuring compliance and excellence in execution.
    • Client Rapport: Ability to build and maintain strong rapport with clients, fostering trust and loyalty through effective communication and empathy.
    • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and compelling interactions with clients and colleagues alike.
