    Description
    Randstad Canada is helping our client with personnel needs for their warehouse in Etobicoke.


    A world leader in denim jeans, we are looking for Warehouse Coordinator to work on a 6 month contract basis on a straight shift schedule.

    As a Warehouse Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to provide vital assistance and support to warehouse management and employees. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient workflow and addressing the diverse needs of our team members.

    Communication is key, as you'll be tasked with conveying the status of operations and executing various duties to uphold the work plan and meet employee requirements.

    Starting wage is $21/hr for employees.

    Responsibilities
    Perform all warehouse functions within the assigned area.
    Assist with conducting onboarding tours for agency and employees.
    Identify and coordinate training when refresh is required.
    Assist Supervisor/Manager with printing daily and monthly checklists.
    Maintain Departmental KATA boards and assist with morning meetings.
    Maintain open communication and coordinate workload requirements with appropriate personnel.
    Understand and adhere to warehouse standard operating procedures (SOP).
    Possess PC skills and ability to learn and use various software programs such as Manhattan, SCI, etc.
    Be available to employees in the assigned area to identify and resolve any problems.
    Coordinate work with other areas to ensure workload requirements are met.
    Ensure timely correction of errors to avoid workflow disruption.
    Work in all areas of the warehouse as needed.
    Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
    Availability to work overtime.
    Operate non-motorized equipment necessary for job functions within the assigned area

    Qualifications
    - comfort doing physical work and lifting up to 50 lbs
    - experience with RF scanners an asset
    - forklift certification or experience an asset (training in house offered)

    • CSAapproved steeltoe shoes/boots
    - experience in a lead hand/supervisory role an asset
