    Description

    Higher Talent Healthcare is currently seeking qualified Family Physicians, General Practitioners and Hospitalists, including those with areas of specialist interest such as Emergency Medicine, for exciting full time, permanent and locum opportunities on behalf of our client, Eastern Health.

    These positions are located in both urban and rural settings across the eastern part of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

    Multiple full time, permanent and locum opportunities are available in both hospital based and family practice settings for qualified individuals.

    Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduled ambulatory and walk-in-clinics, outreach clinics, inpatient coverage and general practice clinics, chronic disease management, palliative care, emergency room and on call coverage, dependent on the position.

    Medical Degree with Family Medicine training
    Certification (or certification examination eligibility) in Family Medicine with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
    Eligibility for a license to practice with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador
    Ability to meet Eastern Health's credential and privilege requirements, including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
    Compensation starting at $163,812 annually for Family Physicians to $217,525 annually for Hospitalists for full time permanent positions with a comprehensive benefits package including:
    Group Insurance benefits (Health, life, travel, amidst other optional group add-ons)
    Employer-sponsored Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)
    Compensation starting at $825 per day for Family Physicians and $1,090 per day for Hospitalists for locum positions.
    Reimbursements for travel and relocation expenses available (conditions apply).
