    The Senior Consultant, Corporate Communications, is responsible for both internal and external communications initiatives.

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, this role will be focused on leading project-based work (including large-scale, complex initiatives), providing strategic communications counsel to business stakeholders (including senior level executives), and supporting issues management.

    Lead and execute integrated communications strategies for large-scale, complex, organization-wide initiatives, collaborating with other functions and stakeholders across the business.

    Lead issues management.

    Drive awareness and understanding of our Allstate story as it connects to our growth strategy with internal and external audiences, connecting the dots across the organization and our communications strategies.

    Provide strategic communications counsel to senior leadership, including executive messaging, presentations, speaking notes and videos.

    Develop and implement new processes and procedures, as well as improve existing ones, to continuously raise the bar and drive innovation across all communications activities.

    Develop/coordinate content for senior leaders connected to special events.

    Minimum 10 years of demonstrated communications experience including employee communications, executive communications, external communications, media relations and issues management, ideally in the insurance industry, professional services, or the financial sector.

    High level of oral and written communication skills and advanced storytelling capabilities, with the ability to connect messaging to our strategy and make complex information easy to understand.

    Proven experience consulting with, and writing for, executives and senior management, working with interdisciplinary teams and managing communications processes.

    Proven experience leading and executing integrated communications and change strategies to support large transformation initiatives.
    Proven experience leading issues management with internal and external stakeholders including reputational risk management.
    String relationship-building, diplomacy and consultation skills, along with audience needs-assessment capabilities and proven project management skills.
    Insurance industry knowledge is an asset
