    Our Calgary based client is currently looking for a Contract Controller to join their team. A successful candidate will be key member of the finance team, responsible for providing a hand in all aspects of accounting including data entry, cash forecasting, full-cycle processing and reporting, and financial management. This is a contract position for 9 months and fully remote.

    Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal use.
    • Manage processing of vendor invoices, customer payments, and monitoring accounts receivable aging.
    • Perform month-end close activities including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data.
    • Manage cash forecasts.
    Your strengths include:
    • CPA designation preferred
    • Knowledge of Sage Intacct
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
