    Description:

    You will be the Editorial lead on an agile project team that is working on the redesign of the client website. They will work as part of the agile project team comprised of visual designers, user experience designers, QA testers, developers, project managers, the scrum master, and others as required. You are a writer and editor who is equally comfortable with technical writing and creative content. You understand how content affects the client experience, but also understand the need to meet business objectives, and find a way to bring the two sides together. You are a problem solver, a listener, and a team player. You see beyond your job responsibilities and help out where you are needed. You are comfortable giving feedback on all elements of a project, even when it is outside your area of expertise. You are familiar with an agile project experience, or eager to learn. You have experience working with visual designers, user experience designers, product managers and developers, and understand their roles on a project.

    You know Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and are familiar with accessibility requirements. You have mastered plain language, and know how to make content accessible for all clients.

    You think outside the box, but understand how to write in a tightly-regulated industry. You have experience in the financial services industry, ideally in brokerage and investments, and understand the products and services we offer to our clients.

    Daily Job Duties/Activities:


    •Participate in daily project team meetings and reviews


    •Work closely with visual and UX designers as pages are designed/created to determine copy placement


    •Work with the Editorial Specialists from other agile projects to strategically plan content


    •Write copy decks, which include technical and client-facing content, as assigned

    Top Skills Details:

    years of experience in a UX Content Writing position within an enterprise-level organization (specifically in UX Writing - writing words that you would read or hear when using a digital product and/or website including microcopy)

    2) In-depth knowledge of style guides and applying them to written work

    3) Understanding on how to navigate Figma & read wire frames (does not need to build anything in Figma)

    4) Previous direct-investing or prime brokerage experience (banking also preferred)
