    Description

    Job Title: Senior Technical Business Analyst

    Location Remote (Canada)

    Job Type: Contract (Incorporated/ T4)

    Job Opening 1: Technical BSA – Application Decom

    Someone who has been a software developer in the past, preferably in Java development.

    Ability to work closely with developers to analyze, understand, and improve existing code base.

    Ability to engage in reverse engineering on existing applications and understand the backend-driven code.

    Intermediate SQL knowledge (Queries/DB concepts).

    Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

    Proven experience in working with different banking systems/workflows and banking products.

    Job Opening 2: Technical BSA – Upgrade Path

    Someone with a technical background and solid understanding of software engineering concepts.

    Working experience in supporting/driving upgrade paths for OS and DB within large-scale platforms would be an asset.

    Strong understanding of SQL/Database concepts.

    Ability to analyze and document all the business and functional impacts/risks and work with DBA and/or application specialists to understand and coordinate the planning process
