- Responsible for ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met
- Backup to Senior Finance Coordinator in payroll & pension activities as required
- Administers fleet plan for Hubbell Canada
- Calculates taxable benefits on company automobiles.
- Maintains the corporate retention program in Pickering.
- Provides administrative assistance to Director of Finance and Finance Dept. as required
- Ensures approvals and coding of invoice completed and scans documents to US for processing.
- Back-up other accounting functions as required
- Perform other ad hoc requests as assigned
- University graduate or equivalent. (Business or Finance)
- Minimum 3-5 years business related experience
- In-depth knowledge of payroll functions and legislation.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications and ADP payroll system
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Analytical Skills: Strong reconciliation and analysis capabilities
- Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with employees
