    Responsibilities

    Cost Analysis:
    Analyze costs associated with production, inventory, and overhead to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to assist management in decision-making and strategic planning.

    Variance Analysis:
    Investigate and explain variances between actual costs and budgeted costs, providing insights to management for corrective actions.

    Inventory Management:
    Monitor inventory levels, reconcile discrepancies, and implement inventory control procedures to optimize inventory turnover.

    Financial Reporting:

    Prepare and present financial reports, including cost reports, profitability analysis, and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, to management and stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.

    Experience:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost accounting or related financial analysis roles. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.

    Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Experience with cost accounting software is a plus.

    Analytical Skills:
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations based on findings.

    Communication Skills:
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
