    On July 27, 2023, TC Energy announced the intention to spin off our Liquids Pipelines business and separate into two independent, investment-grade, publicly listed companies– TC Energy and South Bow.

    The South Bow team is seeking a dedicated Training Professional to join and grow with the Training Department as an Advisor to implement end to end scalable and sustainable training solutions for a wide variety of roles, topics, and jurisdictions, based in Calgary, AB or Houston, TX.

    Reporting to the Safety Program and Culture Manager, this position will collaborate and partner across the business and functions, ensuring maximum value of buy or build training solutions.

    The ideal candidate will have advanced diagnostic skills, in-depth knowledge of training needs assessments, methodologies, evaluation criteria, and technologies, along with effective communication and business partnering capabilities.

    Support the strategy, execution, and delivery of South Bow's training needs to ensure a consistent and effective training experience for employees
    Validate and streamline training needs aligned with other business initiatives, leveraging existing training and/or other strategists as appropriate
    Drive effective and efficient training solutions through adherence to training standards, including redirecting non-training needs, and making buy/build decisions
    Oversee the creation and maintenance of effective training profiles aligning training solutions with defined need
    Project manage multiple internal and external training development projects with varying timelines and deliverables
    Collaborate with stakeholders regarding fit for purpose and sustainable training solutions
    Create a feedback process to assess quality of training delivery and ensure training is continuously improved
    Develop appropriate training programs using internal and external resources
    Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in training/related field of study
    ~6 years' experience in learning role as a designer, consultant, partner, or strategist within a corporate environment
    ~ Proven experience in training needs assessment and adult learning principles
    ~3 years' experience in the Energy/Utility industry or similar technical environment
    ~ Proven history in the implementation of learning solutions
    ~ Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training to adult learners as well as the ability to complete assessments and training evaluations
    ~ Excellent planning and organizational skills and must be able to manage rapidly shifting priorities as well as multiple projects concurrently
    Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
    Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, or training (estimated up to 25% of work schedule)
