    Loewen Windows & Doors is seeking a motivated Sales Professional to join our growing team of well known industry experts. This key role is responsible for promoting the Loewen brand to all stakeholders, with a focus on developing and nurturing architect, builder, and homeowner relationships. Reporting to our Director, Canadian Sales our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales in our marketplace while constantly creating and innovating opportunities for customer engagement. The core deliverables and areas of expertise required to succeed in this role include sales and communication, client management, market analysis, and product knowledge.     Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales through new and existing relationships with architects, builders and designers within the residential and commercial building/construction community.
  • Works closely with the architectural community to project manage their designs through design, fabrication and installation when possible.
  • Focus on architects and builders by doing lunch and learn sessions, jobsite visits and showroom meetings to promote products and build awareness for the purpose of generating project specifications.
  • Provide excellent customer service through education, product knowledge and networking
  • Partner with customers to ensure a clear understanding of their requirements
  • Achieve/exceed targeted new architect and new builder calls per month within a specified territory
  • Required Skills and Experience:

  • Outside sales or architectural sales experience is essential with knowledge of building materials – windows and doors is preferred
  • Driven to succeed with a solid performance record in growing sales
  • High level of responsiveness to customer needs
  • Ability to effectively present in front of varying sized groups both formal and informal
  • Excellent technical aptitude is essential
  • Handling objections by taking initiative and finding creative solutions is critical
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills (in English)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proven time management focus and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Team player who has a record of achieving and exceeding company and team objectives
  • Knowledge of the builder and architectural community
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and CRM tools.
  • Customer Service Training is a strong asset
  • Ability to travel on occasion as required
  • Valid passport, driver's license and a current driver's abstract
