    People and Culture Business Partner - Manufacturing

    For Twenty-two consecutive years, Acadian Seaplants Limited has secured the designation as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies As part of our People and Culture (P&C) team, you will be the primary contact for the assigned Manufacturing client groups.

    The P&C Business Partner coordinates and administers employee relations, benefits, policy implementation, and other P&C functions in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

    Implement People & Culture initiatives for your client group, including talent assessment, succession planning, training, and development, etc.
    Provide counsel, interpretation, and support to client groups regarding personnel policies, processes, programs, and applicable labour laws.
    Work with Plant Managers on developing staffing plans.
    Collaborate with the Director, Talent Acquisition on recruitment and hiring efforts for our manufacturing plants.
    Organize or support the organization of wellness events for each manufacturing site.
    Support safety training assessments and recordkeeping as required.
    Support the disability management and return-to-work process in coordination with the Compensation & Benefits Lead.
    In coordination with Plant Managers, Managers and Supervisors, write and issue disciplinary letters and have disciplinary conversations.
    Manage the annual performance review process for your client group.

    Support the company's vision and policies regarding Health & Safety, Corporate Culture, and Environmental Management by displaying the appropriate behaviors and leadership towards meeting the company's objectives in these areas.

    Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
    Minimum of 5-7 years Human Resources experience.
    Flexible and willing to jump in on any project that supports the business and the team.

    Strong proofreading, grammar, and editing skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to use formulas and tools to develop professional reports and presentations.
