    Our Team:

    The Cobalt Refinery at Vale processes raw materials from our Sudbury operations, refining them into high-quality cobalt products delivered globally. The team at the Cobalt Refinery also plays a critical role in environmental conservation and provides essential services to the facility.

    The Opportunity:

    We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Cobalt Refinery Team based in Port Colborne, Ontario. This opportunity offers long-term stability.

    As a Production Supervisor, you will lead the team in achieving production targets and maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards. Your role will involve managing process control and addressing any variances promptly.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Ensuring team members prioritize health and safety in the workplace.
    • Demonstrating a strong commitment to occupational health and safety improvement.
    • Overseeing production processes and work management.
    • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve exceptional results.
    • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

    About You

    Requirements:

    • College Diploma or equivalent experience.

    Experience:

    • Previous team leadership experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of refinery operations and equipment is advantageous.
    • Experience in water treatment plants is a plus.
    • Familiarity with utility systems is beneficial.

    Skills:

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Effective written and verbal communication.
    • Strong focus on safety and risk management.
    • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office is a bonus.
