    Our client is looking for a manager to support Health and Safety across industrial, institutional, and commercial projects, in BC and the United States. This is a great opportunity to lead and create the health and safety program for this company.

    Our client, a rapidly growing construction company, delivers projects across North America with project values of over $40 million. This is a great opportunity to be hands on in an established and growing company and to work on prominent construction projects across BC and the United States.

    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    In this role, you will be a part of revamping the existing safety procedures as well as defining construction safety policies from day one. You will also be responsible for overseeing a growing safety team. The ideal candidate has experience leading a team, has worked for a general contractor on ICI (institutional, commercial, industrial) projects, has on site experience, and seeks a challenge.

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    In this role, you will be jumping right in with taking a good look at the existing safety policies and procedures and be an integral part of updating the company's construction safety rules and regulations. This role is office based with site visits to local projects. You will be working with and reporting into the senior management team, namely General Superintendents.

    THE REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience overseeing safety personnel.
    • ICI construction (institutional commercial, industrial), experience with a General Contractor.
    • Post-Secondary Construction Safety or Health and Safety Education
    • NCSO and CRSP Designation (or in process of completing).
    • COR is an asset.
    • Experience on mass timber projects is an asset.

    COMPENSATION

    • Salary: up to $135,000.00 experience dependent.
    • Potential bonus and profit sharing.
    • RRSP Matching. Extended benefits.
