    Status: Full time

    Department: Supply Chain – Planning

    Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain Planning you will work closely with Operations and Master Planning to provide detailed production schedules that drive efficiency and ensure that customer expectations are met.

    Qualifications & Competencies:

    • Post-secondary education
    • Proficient in Supply Chain concepts (safety stock planning, MRP calculations, scheduling constraints and bottlenecks, etc.).
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Power BI).
    • Lean/Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or equivalent experience.
    • Previous ERP experience is required; Microsoft Dynamics AX is considered an asset.
    • Demonstrated ability to challenge status quo, influence and drive change and results.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
    • Highly developed analytical, quantitative and data analysis aptitude.
    • Proactive individual with excellent time management skills.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Create and manage detailed schedules of the plant and ensure that equipment is planned efficiently.
    • Communicate variances to plan, report out attainment to schedule.
    • Aid the operations team in continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, capacity, and packaging procurement.
    • Order raw materials and monitor dry goods inventories needed for production.
    • Manage transfers of raw material and dry goods inventories from third party locations to manufacturing site
    • Work with Supply Planning counterpart to ensure that customer requirements are met in a timely fashion.
    • Ensure optimal customer service levels and plant attainment levels by effectively scheduling production and analyzing root causes of attainment shortfalls for future prevention.
    • Monitor KPIs, escalate gaps, and perform root-cause analysis.
    • Other ad-hoc projects as dictated by business needs
