    Order Entry Clerk in Ancaster

    We are currently recruiting for a permanent Order Entry Clerk to join a growing company within the Lighting industry. You will be responsible for
    managing all aspects of the post-sales process from order entry to post-warranty service.

    Job duties will include entering and processing orders through an internal system, generating quotes for clients, and communicating with outside sales, shipping, designers, engineers, and other internal departments to ensure orders are completed timely and accurately.

    This successful candidate will be working with clients, distributors, and vendors within the lighting and design field to ensure products and services are delivered in a timely manner.

    Advantages

    Responsibilities

    • Receive sales orders from our distributor partners and enter them into OASIS sales software promptly, ensuring company requirements are met for terms
    and conditions

    • Create approval drawings that are easy to understand/approve and clearly state what extra information is required prior to the order being released
    • Liaise and follow up with our Manufacturers on lead times and back orders; advise customers and sales representatives of any potential/actual delivery
    issues

    • Expedite the delivery of the orders when needed
    • Keep an updated status of all orders on back order and/or on hold and follow up with customers as necessary
    • Ensure optimum servicing to our existing customer base by responding promptly, tactfully, and accurately to customer inquiries.
    • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1.5+ years of Customer Service and or Order Entry experience
    - proficient in ERP and or CRM software as well as MS Office Excel

    • Experience within Lighting or related industry is an asset
    • Accurate data entry and strong mathematical skills
    • Excellent communication both written and verbal
    • Analytical, strong problemsolving skills
    • Detailedoriented, excellent organizational and multitasking skills
    • The successful candidate must be eligible for or hold a valid passport. Occasional travel will
    be required for product training.

    • Must live within commuting distance of Ancaster, ON
