    As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Community Members have access to necessary programs and services.

    Working as an integral part of the Ts'ixwts'ixwnítway Member Services Department, reporting to the Manager, Member Support Services, This officer position is responsible for working one-on-one with clients, via telephone, email or face-to-face, to provide emergency/crisis intervention counseling and to determine eligibility for emergency assistance.

    The position supports the MSS (Member Support Services) team with cases of Emergency Assistance and follows up/authorizes as per the established process.

    Performs administration/support duties and also assists with special assignments. High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and integrity.
    and to employ contemporary service excellence principles.

    Ability to relieve a supervisor of administrative detail, show a high level of independence and sound judgment, and to work with minimal supervision as well as to act with some authority as directed.
