    Mission

    -Pilots the technical aspects of the Project or Tender

    -Represents technically the project, vis-à-vis the customer

    -Specifies and validates, with his team, the Transport System Solution, and controls the technical consistency through a strong interfaces Management and quality, cost and delay (QCD) approach

    Responsibilities

    Project Engineering Manager responsibilities include:

    - Propose the Engineering Scope of Work to the Project or Tender Manager; define the WorkPackages for the Systems Engineering team and for the participating Operations Products lines (first level), produce them with his team for Systems Engineering

    - Manage technical relationship with the Consortium and the client

    - Develop system acceptance criteria & processes, and have them agreed upon by Customer

    - Choose the hypotheses for performance calculations and validate the results

    - Validate the system Specifications and the interfaces specifications

    - Control, with the support of the Design Control Manager, the System configuration

    - Manage Design Changes related to the transport system definition throughout the project cycl

    - Follow the Preliminary and Final Designs progress

    - In relationship with the Project Test & Commissioning Manager, manages the integration and validation activities

    - Lead, develop and motivate the Engineering Project / Tender team

    - Implement the Methods and Engineering tools as per agreed recommendations

    - Issue the technical risks assessment & mitigation

    - Implement & Control the requirement capture

    - Ensure the carry-over from previous projects and current R&Ds

    - Support the Project Manager

    Educational requirements

    Master University Degree in Engineering

    Technical Knowledge / Experience

    Broad Knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements, available equipment and systems

    At least 5 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions including at least 3 years in managerial positions in international projects

    Senior Expert or Expert in System Engineering

    Behavioral and Technical Skills / Competencies

    System Engineering practices

    Safety

    QCD methodology Experience of People Management

    Fluent in English, and fluent in contract language

    Wide knowledge of the rail environment appreciated

    Good co-ordination and communication

    -Piloter les aspects techniques du projet ou de l'appel d'offres

    -Représenter techniquement le projet, vis-à-vis du client

    -Spécifier et valider, avec l' équipe, la Solution Système de Transport, et contrôle la cohérence technique à travers une approche de gestion des interfaces fortes et une approche qualité, coût et délai (QCD)

    Responsabilités

    Les responsabilités du responsable de l'ingénierie de projet comprennent :

    - Proposer l'étendue des travaux d'ingénierie au gestionnaire de projet ou d'appel d'offres ; définir les WorkPackages pour l'équipe d'Ingénierie Systèmes et pour les lignes de Produits Opérationnels participantes (premier niveau), les produire avec son équipe d'Ingénierie Systèmes

    - Gérer la relation technique avec le Consortium et le client

    - Développer des critères et des processus d'acceptation du système et les faire accepter par le client

    - Choisir les hypothèses de calculs de performances et valider les résultats

    - Valider les spécifications du système et les spécifications des interfaces

    - Contrôler, avec l'appui du Design Control Manager, la configuration du Système

    - Gérer les changements de conception liés à la définition du système de transport tout au long du cycle du projet

    - Suivre l'avancement des conceptions préliminaires et finales

    - En relation avec le Project Test & Commissioning Manager, gère les activités d'intégration et de validation

    - Diriger, développer et motiver l'équipe Projet d'Ingénierie / Appel d'offres

    - Mettre en œuvre les méthodes et les outils d'ingénierie selon les recommandations convenues

    - Émettre l'évaluation et l'atténuation des risques techniques

    - Implémenter et contrôler la capture des exigences

    - Assurer la continuité des projets précédents et des R&D en cours

    - Assister le chef de projet

    Exigences :

  • Diplôme Universitaire d'Ingénierie

    • Connaissances/expérience techniques

  • Connaissance approfondie des systèmes ferroviaires, des exigences d'exploitation, des équipements et des systèmes disponibles
  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans des fonctions d'Ingénierie/Technique dont au moins 3 ans à des postes de direction dans des projets internationaux
  • Expert Senior ou Expert en Ingénierie Système

    • Aptitudes/compétences comportementales et techniques

  • Pratiques d'ingénierie système
  • Sécurité
  • Méthodologie QCD Expérience de la gestion des personnes
  • Anglais courant et maîtrise de la langue contractuelle
  • Large connaissance du milieu ferroviaire appréciée
