    Description

    Position Overview:

    We're looking for a Pursuit and Communications Coordinator or Specialist with a keen eye for refining internal processes pertaining to proposal development. You will be responsible for enhancing efficiency, consistency, and quality in proposal writing and submission processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and project management skills to streamline internal workflows and ensure successful proposal outcomes.

    This is a full-time, permanent position located in Toronto, offering the opportunity for hybrid work after six months of employment.

    The Role:

    • Develop and maintain our portfolio of pitch and proposal assets to streamline the team's business development, recontacting and cross-selling efforts
    • Coordinate the creation and timely submission of competitive proposals i.e. request for proposals, which includes workplan development, scheduling and coordinating discussions, creating a first draft with standardized sections, suggesting selling points and competitive differentiators, mobilizing our subject matter experts and copyediting
    • Support the team to develop clear, succinct and compelling pitches and proposals that effectively communicate the firm's strengths, differentiators and value propositions
    • Proofread and edit written client deliverables e.g. corporate sustainability reports, to ensure they adhere to our quality, brand and writing guidelines
    • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to craft external communication, including thought leadership articles, presentations and social media posts
    • Manage and implement the content calendar by crafting engaging and relevant content to effectively showcase the firm's value proposition

    Qualifications:

    • Post secondary education in marketing, communications, journalism, business or a related field
    • At least two years of experience in sales enablement, business communications, marketing or proposal writing
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex
    • ideas clearly and succinctly
    • Outstanding organizational skills, showcasing the ability to independently set priorities,
    • meet timelines and effectively contribute in a collaborative environment
    • Adept at working across the team to ensure valuable input is obtained from relevant
    • parties
    • Exceptional mastery of Microsoft 365 applications with the ability to maintain our custom
    • company templates e.g. PowerPoint, Word
    • Working experience with Adobe Creative Cloud e.g. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop,
    • with a keen eye for design is an asset
    • Fluently bilingual in English and French is a strong asset
