    About the Director of Sales Role

    Float is seeking an exceptionally resilient and results-oriented sales leader to oversee our high-performing AE sales teams in hyper-growth B2B tech start-ups. This Director of Sales will play a crucial role in revamping our GTM strategies, driving team success, acquiring new customers, enhancing product adoption, and uncovering fresh opportunities for Float.

    This opportunity is pivotal for an accomplished Sales leader to elevate our sales function in a team dedicated to creating the leading corporate card and spend management platform in Canada.

    Requirements

    As the Director of Sales, your responsibilities include:

    • Guiding, coaching, and supporting a team of high-performing AEs to consistently meet and surpass quotas
    • Developing and executing a strategic sales plan that aligns with revenue targets and company objectives
    • Overseeing recruitment, goal setting, coaching, and performance evaluation of Account Executives
    • Enhancing sales operations and execution through improved pipeline management, CRM utilization, and data analysis for performance enhancement
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to devise and implement sales strategies in line with Float's goals
    • Identifying market trends, new products, and competition status for future growth preparation

    Qualifications for Success:

    • Minimum of 6 years in tech sales and 4 years in people management, ideally within a high-growth start-up environment
    • Proven experience in refining sales methodologies for dynamic, results-driven settings
    • Leadership style focused on empathy, honesty, and driving revenue success
    • Expertise in forecasting and delivering consistent, predictable results
    • Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and customer acquisition
    • Comfortable with providing and receiving candid feedback, valuing customer needs, and effective communication at all levels
