    Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to put your strong financial and analytical skills to use? You will provide performance analysis, stewardship, and enterprise planning, as well as drive cost and finance process improvement.

    Fort Hills Finance is seeking a new team member who has the ability to translate complex information into validated insights and solutions.

    You'll have the opportunity to influence, persuade and facilitate change within the Fort Hills and Finance organizations. A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or relevant Finance degree

    Eight years of relevant financial and analytical experience

    Working towards a recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA, CFA) with a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles (preferred)

    Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency with SAP and Microsoft tools

    Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in business partnering outside of finance

    Effectively communicate financial performance, strategies and drivers to leadership and finance stakeholders

    Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and clearly communicate findings

    Prepare monthly accruals and performance management reports

    Coordinate and deliver monthly forecasts, budget and business planning deliverables presented to senior leaders

    Provide input on continuous improvements in performance reporting, planning processes and deliverables


    Gather and interpret data from different sources, identify and analyze operational trends, and develop strategies to address issues or concerns.

    This is an office-based role.

    You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.

    Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday


    offshore oil and gas; and the company's Petro-Canada retail and wholesale distribution networks (including Canada's Electric Highway, a coast-to-coast network of fast-charging electric vehicle stations).
