    As a world leader in the tire manufacturing industry, Hankook Tire Canada is seeking a self-motivated experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team.

    The Accounting Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting various accounting and financial tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.

    The new hire will report to the Accounting Manager.

    Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    Assist in monitoring and managing accounts payable and receivable.


    Bank Reconciliation:
    Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
    Prepare necessary documentation and reports for financial analysis.

    Collaborate with team members to compile and analyze financial data.


    General Administrative Support:
    Provide general administrative assistance to the finance department.
    Support the finance team in budget preparation and forecasting.
    Assist in monitoring budgetary performance and identifying variances.

    Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
    Assist in maintaining proper documentation for audits.

    College or University Diploma or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finanace
    A minimum of 1 year of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience and Bank Reconciliation
    Advanced computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, MS Outlook)
    Strong knowledge of ERP System (SAP) preferred
    Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English required
