- Experience preparing reports from multiple data sources.
- Experience conducting development-related research to identify donor prospects and creating tailored fundraising packages.
- Experience developing components of short-and long-term donor stewardship strategies.
- Experience creating donor correspondence from non-template documents.
- Ability to use data to make recommendations to support fundraising strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for a diverse number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills in developing and maintaining good working relationships and teamwork
- Demonstrated advanced computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access,PowerPoint), Zoom, database and fundraising software.

Your opportunity:
The Principal Gifts fundraising team within DUA is responsible for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of donors at the $5 million plus level and to develop tailored programs to identify and gain/enhance the interest and involvement of individuals who directly, or through other sources, are capable of making gifts at this level. In addition, the Principal Gifts team provides support to the AVP of University Development, VP of Advancement as well as divisional advancement teams on donor strategies and gift opportunities. In coordination with Advancement Communications and Marketing, the Principal Gifts team develops proposals, concept notes, and other donor material to cultivate and solicit principal gift level support. We hire outstanding people from a variety of backgrounds and currently seek a Pipeline Development Officer to join our diverse group of talent.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Principal Gifts, with supervision from the Program Manager, Principal Gifts, the Pipeline Development Officer will be supporting driving growth and development for the University's Principal Gift Portfolio. The Pipeline Development Officer will support the review, evaluation and identification of prospects at the Principal Gift level and will engage in research, interpretation, analysis and delivery of information pertaining to donors and prospective donors. The Pipeline Development Officer will engage with advancement and academic leadership at Faculties and Divisions across the University to develop agendas and create comprehensive briefing documents, disseminate information and share call reports. In addition, this position will be the initial point of contact for the Principal Gift team for developing donor engagement strategies, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and senior advancement officials.
