    Employment conditions: Overtime, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend, Flexible hours

    Job requirements:

    Languages: English

    Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

    Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

    Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Basic security clearance

    Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel regularly, Willing to travel

    Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

    1. Attention to detail,
    2. Tight deadlines,
    3. Work under pressure,
    4. Fast-paced environment,
    5. Overtime required

    Specific Skills

    • Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions,
    • Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions,
    • Gather, research and prepare communications material, Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material,
    • Prepare or oversee preparation of reports, briefs, bibliographies, speeches, presentations,
    • Website content and press releases,
    • Act as spokesperson for an organization,
    • Answer written and oral inquiries,
    • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys,
    • Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies,
    • Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and programs,
    • Prepare sports, literary, performance or other contracts,
    • Initiate and maintain contact with the media,
    • Develop and organize workshops, meetings, ceremonies and other events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes
