- Coordinating and schedule pre-hire testing and screening of ECOs, including technical testing, interviews, psychological screenings and other assessments as required.
- Coordinate recruitment activities related to the Emergency Communications Centre, including public presentations, advertising and providing accurate information.
- Responsible for administrative tasks related to hiring including data entry of application information and maintaining the ECOMB ECO hiring database.
- Liaise and communicate with Human Resources Department as candidates progress through the hiring process.
- Coordinate sit-alongs and tours of prospective candidates.
- Share feedback with candidates as outlined by the ECOMB Manager.
- Other related duties as required. Job Requirements :
- Completion of the twelfth(12th) school grade including business subjects with an emphasis on word and information processing or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college, supplemented by training in basic microcomputer applications
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in website development projects with proven web development skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Broad knowledge of police practices specifically related to ECOMB.
- Proven technical ability working with various computer software programs and databases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated self-initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize a high-volume workload in a demanding fast paced environment.
- Ability to adapt to change and work in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Experience in an Emergency Communication Center considered an asset.

- As part of your pre-hire screening you will be required to complete an Enhanced Security Clearance.
