    Description

    What's CrowdRiff?

Good visuals are appealing to the eye, but great visuals tell stories that reignite your desire to discover, spark your creative imagination and even influence what we buy, eat, and do. That's why CrowdRiff exists: to empower destination marketers to showcase their unique destinations through powerful visual storytelling solutions.

CrowdRiff is built around the idea of pushing the boundaries of exploration; and our dedication to finding experiences that feel more authentic and undiscovered make us who we are. We like to think of ourselves as modern-day explorers, who believe in taking action now and thrive in an open, challenging, and encouraging environment.

Our team is a quirky and diverse crew that has one thing in common: our love for great visuals. Picture this. You will contribute to amplifying unique travel experiences like scuba diving in Tahiti , exploring Napa's wine country, bungee jumping in Queenstown and much more while having access to some of our amazing travel perks that allow you to immerse yourselves in local communities and culture.

At CrowdRiff, you have the freedom, autonomy, and resources to set the course of your own future along with an incredible crew. We understand that to feel empowered and to keep forging new paths professionally and personally, we need to pull out all the stops. That's why we take a proactive approach and set not only professional but also personal goals for all CrowdRiffers. To make this possible, we offer opportunities related to training, tuition, conferences, workshops, or anything else that will help you achieve your goals under our 'DevDollars' program.

Every day, we work across departments, time zones, and even oceans to reach our goals and delight our customers - all while being remote. If you are looking to make travel an incredible experience today, and for future generations, and are passionate about visuals & tech, you're just our type.

Your Role: Senior Product Manager, Creator Marketplace

CrowdRiff is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our fastest growing product line that's empowering local creators to help destinations scale their short-form video output. You will act as the product line business owner, responsible for generating high growth in this relatively new product segment and aligning it to the goals of the business. You are passionate about building customer centric products and understand how to manage a product P&L to maximize profitability and customer experience.

You'll be working at the intersection between design, development and business to scale the way we work with customers and creators in our marketplace. You will own and execute product planning and prioritize product initiatives that will directly impact our users and drive business growth.

    What you'll do:
    • You create the strategy and roadmap for the Creator Marketplace, with a deep expertise in marketplaces, you will closely manage and monitor marketplace metrics to drive continued liquidity and growth in new market segments.
    • You will leverage market intelligence, customer insights and new technologies to maximize product growth.
    • You are business savvy, able to understand financial concepts and analysis, to balance investment and profitability for the entire line of business.
    • You work cross functionally with a broad set of stakeholders to evangelize and launch new product features and innovations with an aligned go-to-market strategy.
    • You are a storyteller who can articulate and translate the product goals and outcomes into tangible and inspiring tasks for the entire product development team.
    • Research and articulate the needs of our customers and business; identifying opportunities for product growth and innovation.
    • You will think holistically about the experience and edge cases and can ask the right questions to uncover and remove potential roadblocks.
    • You can define the scope of features, breaking down work to validate the riskiest hypotheses, demonstrating natural leadership and guiding the team through this process; working collaboratively towards resolution.
    • Constantly research trends and be up to date on the latest products, services and tools.
    • Build alignment across product teams and cross-functional partners.
    What you'll need:
    • Experience with a marketplace product and a clear understanding of how supply and demand affects product decision making and direction.
    • At least 5+ years experience in a product management role at a technology company.
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented; you have validated an idea, launched a product, measured results, and iterated to improve it.
    • You have user compassion and an understanding of the user experience and struggles, and are motivated to mitigate any user friction.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex product ideas and strategies to a range of stakeholders.
    • You are committed to continuous learning and problem solving.
    • You have a knack for knowing what customers want; you have begun to develop your product gut.
    • You have a humble, team-oriented attitude that empowers the success of your team.
