    The role of Director, Privacy Compliance and Privacy Counsel is crucial to our team and growth strategy.

    Reporting to the Senior Director, Legal Affairs, this position oversees our Privacy Management Program and promotes a privacy-focused culture.

    We are looking for someone with:

    • Bachelor of Law (LL.B, J.D) and Ontario law practice qualification.
    • IAPP certified (CIPP, CIPM) or willing to obtain.
    • 5-8 years of experience in privacy law/compliance.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Experience in developing compliance programs.
    • Deep knowledge of privacy laws (including PIPEDA) and exceptional communication skills.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Developing and enhancing the Privacy Management Program.
    • Building relationships and providing privacy law expertise.
    • Staying updated on regulatory changes and analyzing their impact.
    • Handling security incidents and implementing privacy training.
