    Description

    Operations Support (On-site, Ottawa location)


    On behalf of our leading-industry and multinational client, Procom is seeking an Operations Support Professional to join our client's office team, and support the daily operations of the facility, with a focus on hardware distribution.

    This on-site position will help multiple teams in Ottawa, as well as support teams across Canada and globally.


    Responsibilities

    • Working at the front desk, as the first point of contact for employees, contractors, and visitors
    • Daily building status and reporting of issues
    • Interface with local IT and Facilities staff as needed


    • Communicate needs to stakeholders

    • Handle associated shipping and receiving duties
    • Maintain inventory of supplies and reorder as needed
    • Supply PC hardware to individuals and teams
    • Manage the badge access system for the site
    • Provide administrative support to the Operations team
    • Create and maintain reports as required including a weekly communication to the site
      Required Skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong aptitude for problem solving
    • Detail oriented self starter who can work with minimal supervision
    • Strong organizational skills with experience in managing inventory
    • Post secondary education
    • Building management and ordering/shipping/receiving experience
    • Experience with Windows PC/Operating System

    Start Date: ASAP


    Assignment Length: 1 year with potential for renewal
