    As the Junior Accountant, you'll support the team by recording journal entries, providing support for month-end delivery requirements, including statutory and group reporting, reconciliations, and trial balance.

    Your key responsibilities will be the following:
    Assist in the monthly financial close process.
    Assist in the preparation and accuracy of Financial Statements including accurate and timely assembly of supporting documentation.

    Assist in the compliance of accounting policies and processes including preparation of journal requests, supporting month-end activities, and completing necessary checks and reconciliations to guarantee the accuracy of financial information.

    Assist in the preparation and compilation of reports on a weekly basis to ensure smooth functioning of the deliverables.

    Maintaining and preparing the vendor master records for payment processing.
    Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, legislation and regulations (Statutory and Group).
    Support the accounting team in preparation of financial information for external stakeholders including HQ team, auditors, tax office.
    Comply with the Company's Health and Safety program including working in a safe and responsible manner.
    To be successful you'll need to have the following skills and abilities:
    ~1 – 2 years of professional experience in Finance roles
    ~ In the process to obtain the designation of Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
    ~ Excellent computer skills with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOPUP, fundamental functions).
    ~ Bilingual (French and English) is considered an asset.
