    Entuitive is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual for the role of Senior Proposal Team Manager, based in our Toronto office. The role reports to the Director of Business Development and will be working in a creative and collaborative environment to deliver successful proposals to secure new business as well as support business development initiatives across the organization.

    The Senior Proposal Team Manager will provide leadership to form a high performing proposal team and oversee the management of the proposal process including the planning, development, and production of winning proposals from start to finish. Will play a key role supporting the firm's strategic business plans to implement business development-related initiatives.

    What you will do?

    • Provide overall leadership and coaching for a team of proposal managers, specialists, coordinators and administrators
    • Work with People & Culture to ensure appropriate staffing levels, recruitment, hiring and onboarding of new proposal team members
    • Oversee day-to-day team operations, team workload and integration with firm business development and proposal opportunities
    • Build relationships with external clients and marketing teams
    • Act as escalation point for proposal submissions and shortlist interviews
    • Work with the Principals and the senior leadership team to counsel on proposals, RFP submissions and client presentations
    • Accountable and responsible for formalizing proposal best practices and implementation of proposal tools to help support the delivery of quality submissions
    • Manage "must win" proposals from start-to-finish to ensure a top-quality, competitive and winning response to comprehensive Requests for Proposals and related documents.
    • Writing and editing thoughtful, creative narratives focused on meeting or exceeding the client and/or project's requirements for strategic proposals.
    • Lead the RFP review process including reviewing RFP requirements, establishing a proposal plan, and identifying questions, concerns and potential risks and assign appropriate resources
    • Monitor progress of the team's overall workload and proposal process with timely follow-up to ensure all internal and external proposal deadlines are met.
    • Lead the development and production of customized pitch documents and presentations for various business groups within Entuitive.
    • Assist with various writing projects that include but are not limited to thought leadership content and copy for marketing credentials packages.
    • Manage the development, maintenance and coordination of content, tools and templates for ongoing improvement of proposal management.
    • Providing support in determining effective, detailed approaches to pursuing new business, and increasing Entuitive's profile, while driving the follow-up and implementation.
    • Conducts research and analysis of individuals, companies, industries, and competitors to identify opportunities for outreach and improvement to Entuitive's various value propositions.
    • Stays abreast of marketing best practices, market and industry trends, companies and competitors to support decisions with respect to marketing and business development initiatives.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    What you need to succeed?

    • Minimum 3+ years of experience leading and managing a team of proposal professionals
    • Business diploma or degree specializing in business, commerce or marketing and communications, followed by a minimum of 10 years' progressive, and related experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry.
    • Experience preparing responses to RFP/RFIs, customized pitch books and presentations.
    • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading, and organization skills.
    • Ability to effectively deliver quality work with a sense of urgency and a high degree of attention to detail.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively, lead, mentor and motivate a team of professionals
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
    • Stellar client service skills along with the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with individuals at levels of the organization.
    • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks within compressed timelines.
    • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge and interest in sustainability considerations for operations is considered an asset
