Bye Bye Ukraine
I have not been doing any posts about the Ukrainian genocide lately and I probably won't do any more in the future. There's no point. If people don't know that what is going on there is an obscenity of the worst kind that humans are capable of, then they are blind, deaf or dumb or all three.
The fact that this tragedy has become a political football says a lot about today's world. A whole lot of fiddling while Rome burns. I've lit all the candles I could light. I get unbelievably sad when I think about it. But at the same time, there's very little that any of us can do. Governments all over the world are struggling with coughing up aid money. The logistics of the situation Indicate that while they are putting up a hell of a fight, the Russians just keep on coming and are playing the dirtiest game imaginable. Vladimir Putin is a sociopathic, obsessive compulsive maniac, and until somebody or some thing wises up and takes him permanently out of the picture, this obscenity will continue unabated while the leaders of the world wring their hands and then continue to sit on them, and a perfectly good country is blown to rat shit. I can't do it anymore. I can't read about it and I'm working hard not to think about it. This is up to the free countries of the world to draw a fucking line in the sand. But it won't happen because fear is the mind killer and they are all afraid of Putin and his nukes.
