THE FOOL | HAVE BECOME

Iride all alone

On this highway of pain

I'm never quite sure

Of where | am bound

I'm tied to your soul

With a ribbon of tears that fall like rain
1 scream your name

But only hear my echo’s sound

I ride alone

On this highway of dreams
I'm heading straight

Into the eye of the sun

1 feel my soul

Start to rip apart at the seams
And | can’t believe

The fool | have become

And the road beneath my wheels
Is never ending

And this loneliness | feel

Haunts me like a curse

And the only thing | know
Through all this distance that | go
Is that it only seems

To take me from bad to worse

Sometimes | can’t

Remember who | am
Sometimes | think

It would be better not to know
The man | see in the mirror

Is sucha sham

Just a lonely shadow dancing
In the moonlight glow

Every time | think about you

It brings me pain

Knowing there is so much

I cannot undo

But | am tied to your soul

With a ribbon of tears that fall like rain
And I'll carry that weight

Until my life is through
