Couuch Potato Chronicles review

3 BODY PROBLEM (1 Spud on Netflix) This was promoted as the next big thing (on Netflix) from the creators of Game of Thrones and all that other good hype. But for all the effects and the end of days story line, it really comes across as some kind of object lesson, supposedly for all of us, that the earth is so fucked that the only thing that will save it is an invasion from another species that will essentially eradicate the pestilence, aka human beings, and start all over again. So the real question is, do you like watching stuff that has some effects that are quite spectacular while telling you a story that’s despressing as shit or not. Judging from its popularity with the masses on Netflix, this is OK with them. I watched six and a half of the eight episodes in this series and decided that I no longer wanted to be depressed to that degree by, of all things, a fucking TV series.
