MY LIFE ACCORDING TO YODA

In eleven days the summer will turn to fall.

In many ways this was one of the best
summers of my life. | did a lot of things |
wasn't sure | could do again, most notably,
getting into my pool and starting to swim, as
well as being able to walk in the waist high
water without holding on to anything.

These are things | thought were lost, but |
found them again. And it gives me hope that
I can find some more of the things | lost as
time goes by.

The other thing this summer has taught me
is that for a twitchy guy, who mostly shoots
first and asks questions later, | have managed
to become more patient.

It's a necessity because this recovery that |
am going through is a real game of inches.

If you rush anything, it can have dire conse-

quences. So | have become careful without
being timid.

I'm not sure how far | can go, | just know
that, as the great philosopher Yoda was fond
of saying| Do or do not. There is no try.”

So | do. And | do some more. Hopefully,
at some point | will be done.
