WITHOUT US

I put my ear to the ground
And all | hear
Is the babbling of fools
In the cause of greed
Screaming for attention
And getting far too much.

I put my ear to the wind
And all I hear
Are the echoes of the martyrs
Screaming for justice
In a world that is slowly
Tuming colder

I tilt my head to the sky
And all I see
Are the dark clouds of deprivation
And a sun that is barely visible
Through the thick veil
Of smog and avarice
That defines us all

I close my eyes look inside
And all my mind's eye sees
Is a world that nobody cares for
Working hard to destroy itself
And start all over again
Without us.

A Love Letter To Donald Trump

On Fridays I like to write about the stuff I have been thinking about that has relatively little to do with the business of marketing. Today I thought I’d write a letter to Donald Trump. · I have become an avid Trump watcher, in the way that people who pass a car wreck on the hi ...

The Biggest War America Is Fighting Is With Itself

The Discontinuity of Donald Trump

The past six months have turned US politics on its head. As the Democratic and Republican parties fumbled their way through their tortuous primary processes, both with their odd idiosyncrasies, wisdom has been thrown out the window. Bernie Sanders, the rumpled, always-angry 74 ye ...
