JUSTICE & KARMA The trouble with believing in justice Is that justice is a fairy tale Told by lying politicians To a world that grows old and frail The trouble with believing in justice Is that the good guys never seem to win Because there's no competing with evil And there's no shouting over its din The trouble with believing in justice Is that they call you a dreamer and a clown While they sit around counting their money As your bank account just dwindles down The trouble with believing in justice Is that your wishes never come true While all the charlatans and fake messiahs All default on their promises to you The trouble with believing in justice Is that no matter how hard you try You can always be arrested for your trouble And spend the rest of your life wondering why So stop believing in justice And give your poor soul a break For karma will take care of the evil ones And even out all the give and take
