| SEE GHOSTS

| see ghosts
Everywhere | turn
I see troubled souls
And hear them yearn
Make up your mind
Is it heaven or hell
This in between
Is no place to dwell

| see ghosts
Some fly and some crawl
Some scream
Some say nothing at all
But in their eyes
| see the story of the world
Drifting rudderless
Slack sails unfurled

| see ghosts
When | close my eyes

Spirits trying

But unable to rise

They call out to me

In their sadness and woe
| see ghosts
Everywhere | go
