THE BIG FACEBOOK SCANDAL, YADDA YADDA.

A lot of the so called watchdogs of industry have, over the past few weeks, turned their sights on Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook. They are hurling all kinds of accusations at Zuck. He's even got his own pet whistle blower trying to explain how the rich Zuck gets richer.
And you know, that's all well and good, except for one simple but crucial bit of reality. FACEBOOK USERS DON'T GIVE A SHIT. The vast majority of them, and I include myself, accept the fact that we are going to become part of some database that they sell to people who want to influence us to either buy something or believe some shit they are peddling. But most of us don't care because, we actually have enough life experience to know bullshit when we see it. The ones who don't are going to get victimized in one way or another anyway. Is all this evil and nasty? Maybe. But it's also something you can scroll on past rather easily. And that's why most of us don't really care about it, because we have gotten so used to dodging crap here that we no longer even think much about it, other than 'Oh boy, more crap.'

Is the Death of LinkedIn Here? I Really Don't Know

This post was originally written on January 14th of this year. It was originally titled, "Is LinkedIn Dead? I Hope Not." Now, I just don't know. I really don't. Some of the things I wrote then now seem prophetic. I wonder if Javier and Juan ever read it.  · I've added notes to th ...
